Light Dress - Zebra print

Coming into the new year one can almost feel completely overwhelmed. Between schools, three children, business, building friendships, being a wife and finding God - I felt like it was too much too soon. I felt anxious, like I was suffocating.

God gave me a beautiful picture of a person under the water, almost feeling like they are drowning but then looking up and seeing the light at the surface. I could feel the warmth of the sun's rays penetrating through the deep waters and pulling me out to breathe again. Being fully at peace and for a moment stepping into the eye of the whirlwind where it was calm. I believe so many of us can relate to this - fighting anxiety, feelings of being overwhelmed of merely to go slow between all the busyness.

God is the light - set your gaze on Him and His expectations alone and allow Him to show you how to build breathing spaces in. We (the world) tend to go faster and make everything urgent, He wants to go slower and put it into perspective for us.

May you see and seek the light this year. May you breathe and feel His presence.
