Sammy Dress

The story behind the Sammy dress.

The dress that has yet sparked the most attention (and literally flew off the online shelf) was the Tanja dress. It was named after my sister Tanja who passed away at the age of 28 years from Malaria. A short life, yet she understood so well what life was about - she lived life to the fullest. She was thankful, she was kind and she made sure that she spent her time on earth on what truly mattered. She also LOVED beautiful clothes and had a suhshine, free personality - typical of a boho dress!

Years later, we crossed paths with Sammy - a beautiful, artistic woman who loves God and happened to grow up with Tanja in the same school and class. When looking at Sammy I see so much joy and resemblance of that free personality - just with a colourful and spontaneous twist! This woman is truly a delight to spend time with. She carries a grace for fun, so much awareness for seeing and creating beauty, so much depth in finding God's voice in her life and she is such an encourager to those around her.

Just like the beautiful patchwork design details on this boho dress - so are all the elements of Sammy (checkout her page Sammy Sheppard Art) - full of colour, full of life, full of joy, full of beauty and full of God.

This dress is made from a border printed viscose. It is fun, flowy and a carefree wear - just like Tanja and Sammy!
