Inge Dress - Lemons

We took our best selling Sophia dress (after seeing how flattering it is on all the different women at the various markets) and played around with the pattern to make some slight new updates like the box-pleat and shorter sleeve detail.

And voila another beautiful dress was "born" - the Inge dress!

Inge is the everyday-friend that every woman needs in her life, especially if you have 3 kids and you're trying to build a business. Her children are very good friends with my children - so we ended up spending more and more time together and from there a friendship formed that anchored me in the every day challenges we would navigate as parents, together.

She is silent but strong - a loyal, stable and solid friend with a good sense of humour. She loves baking, gardening and spending time creating a lovely and inviting, kind home for others and her family.

She is the neighbourly friend that shares the same hopes, dreams and values for her children. The one where you can openly talk, laugh and pray together for our children. She reminds me of what true community was like when we grew up and today these gems are scarce.

When looking at this lovely lemons print - it feels like rest, home, a sense of belonging, an Italian family garden that offers warmth and belonging - just like Inge.

The Inge dress is made from a Spanish viscose in a feminine, flowing dress style. Midi to maxi length with a front side slit for ease of movement. We also love the romantic touch on the sleeve.
